    Great signing but to a bad team. Hopefully he can help turn around the O's like he did the Braves. Now the O's have to get an offense put together.

    Braves Braves demand compensation for Maz

    According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the only thing holding up Leo Mazzone's departure to Baltimore is Atlanta's desire for a prospect as compensation.
    There hadn't been any indication until now that the Braves were demanding something in return for their pitching coach. Mazzone isn't signed for 2006, so the Braves wouldn't seem to have a lot of leverage here. He's free to leave the club after Nov. 15.

    I kinda doubt that the Braves can extract compensation for a free agent coach. Anyway, while Mazzone may not have the top-tier talent available in Baltimore, the team still has a few young arms and projects which can benefit from having Mazzone around. One thing I definitely expect is fewer pitching injuries in Baltimore.

    Alex Rodriguez is black? C'mon, even Jeter is darker than A-Rod. Yo, y'all be a bunch of racist *****es up in here.
