Why? Because Joba doesn't get enough as is?

Haha, no, he doesn't. It's ok, I'm not mad with them. It's Tom Brady dick-sucking that makes me REALLY mad. Johan's not nearly as bad.

I don't understand the Neal Huntington nutswinging. All he has done so far is sign Doug Misspelling to light a fire under Adam LaRoche and suddenly he is crowned a good GM?

It was a toss up between the Pirates and Royals for me. I chose the Royals because I feel they have the better ptiching.

Gotta be the Royals here. Royals have a good starting three with Meche, Bannister and Greinke and a decent bullpen to go with it. They also have Gordon and Butler getting better and Jose Guillen will provide protection for these guys. Hillman is bringing a different attitude to this team and it has really shown in these games. Royals are coming from behind in some of these games. Grudz is an underrated player in this lineup.

I voted for the Royals. But, I think the O's should be thrown in this category also. What is everyone else's theory on this thought?

    The O's aren't upstart...

I mean, when your lineup has Ramon Hernandez, Aubrey Huff, Brian Roberts, Jay Payton, and a ton of journeymen, it isn't "upstart"

Re: So, with these upstart teams...

that is true, good point. but they are a bunch of basically utility players that no one else wants. Maybe they will be picked up by another team at the deadline. Maybe that is what the O's are hoping for. Try and trade them for prospects and retool the farm system.

The O's starting pitching is upstart.
