Pitching really stepped up.. going from 11th in runs allowed to 6th in 1 SIM

Jurrjens is now a 20 game winner.. and Miller should hit that in the last 2 weeks... Porcello has an outside shot

Granderson came back strong.. and even with being out 3 weeks, has a shot at 100RBI... which would mean probably 5 players on DET with 100+ RBI

Really needed a push from my staff and that just did not happen. One way or another, I did not get the wins I needed and am still 3.5 out from the WC race.

TB really needs to make the playoffs this year; maybe we will do it in the last sim.

Saturday 9/9/2015: Arizona's Carlos Lee belts 500th career homerun
COLORADO - Arizona's players had every reason to congratulate Carlos Lee, who reached a milestone today, slamming his 500th career longball! In the 7th inning he unloaded his 500th blast off Trevor Cahill. In 15 years of big league action so far, Carlos has compiled a batting average of .274, along with 2643 hits and 1703 RBI. Carlos hit 30+ homeruns in a season 10 times, hitting 40 bombs 0 times. 'Good things happen when you put the bat on the ball.' The Hall of Fame already has reserved a place for this great player.

Hammer resigned Lee, but he did say he was retiring at season's end..... it'll be interesting what he does now. Probably will retire, but since he signed an extension and has hit the shit out of the ball since then...
