I would go with Player Two as well.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

While player one has 10 less errors, and 30 more innings than player two. He's also had 160 less chances and his range factor is 1.2 less than player two.

you guys must lover errors. yes, player 2 had more range, but he had 10 more errors. player 2 had more TC because his team had way less strikeouts (261 k's less). I'll take a guy with only 4 errors in the same number of games.

There shouldn't be this argument about the amount of total chances one had versus the other. Fielding percentage takes care of that, evening the playing field. Player 1 is better.

Thats why the team loses, I was 9th in runs allowed. Defensively I was among the top third in fielding %, turned the 2nd most double plays and two gold glovers. Your 2nd baseman lost because of a lack of a range factor like Bill Winkie who had 9 OF assists, 1 Error but a range factor of a pathetic 1.94 which is pretty damn low.

Edit: Which is odd because Knutz has a better range than Ferran. That could be contributed to your exceptional pitching but thinking about the what game does, thats probably why they took Ferran.

Lack of total chances while playing 30 more innings means he has no range, but a great glove. It doesn't always even the playing field.

no, the lack of chances is due to my team having 261 more strikeouts...the other guy has more chances because his pitching sucked.

Yeah, that's a pretty large discrepancy in Range Factor...not to mention Player 2 had 21 more DPs

The average is around 4.3 to 4.7, Ferran was at 5.5

well, I wish I knew exactly how that was calculated and what it means because SD LF Provost won and his range was only 2.13, which isn't that much better than Winkie (obviously they're in different leagues...just saying).
