nice. so i tie for the lead in the picks, make the 10 posts like i'm supposed to, and potentially will get nothing. that's really cool. looks like i'm probably not gonna bother doing this next time around, cuz it seems like there's a chance of not getting anything for my work anyways...so why bother.

I explained all of that in the very beginning. This is a reward for participation, but it is also a reward for paying attention to your finances. I made 2 players that you can sign to mlc's. there were some risks, but they were all explained at the very beginning. Eight teams participated and 4 received players, so it's not like you were guaranteed a player from the beginning. Personally, I think it's intriguing to do it this way. There are a lot of ways that it can work out, and you have to be smart about it. If you don't want to participate next year, that's up to you, but I think you will be missing out on a lot if you don't. I guess that would be one less team to compete with for everyone else.

That was a warning about forfeiting your pick. What did you expect would happen if you didn't have enough money to sign your pick? This is similar to what Mission did in his league, except I gave the option of having 2 minor leaguers available. I think it's fair, but if you don't agree, that's up to you. It will be done the same way next season, so this is your warning.

Gambling is luck...this was essentially gambling without money. One can make educated guesses as to who they think might win, but no one really knows. Anything can happen like the Dodgers blowing the game in the 9th and the Twins falling apart blowing the game to the Royals. Picking correctly does not make you smarter than someone else Congrats on getting two more correct than me, but there's no reason for the attitude. The rules were stated for all and applied to everyone. Thems the breaks.
