wait, you gave up all that just for Zam, but wouldn't give up just Waldrop for Weaver despite Weaver being cheaper, younger, similarly rated, and pitching better? ummm...OK

Prov, 10-8-9 and 9-9-7 are not similarly rated.

they're not? 1 point stuff difference, 2 point movement difference with Weaver having 1 more contro pointl...in addition to being younger, cheaper, and outperforming Zam. You're telling the difference between the 2 of them is 2 5.0 star specs? OK chief LOLZDGEHHEAWQQEQ

i didn't say the difference is 2 5.0 specs, or that i agree with the trade, or your situation. all i am saying is that I don't think they can be considered similarly rated

I don't have a situation...Weaver is probably gone anyway. I'm just shocked to see him give up so much more than he was even willing to give up for a similar pitcher...not the same, similar.

Not to mention Weaver has never had an ERA under 4.80 and only has 8 starts this year, as Zambrano has never been above 4.00 (In OOTP). As for the cost, Zambrano is loyal and signed to a pretty decent contract as Weaver is Minimal and has pending F.A. this year. Neither one of the guys I added are exactly special either, both project to be a DH and neither really has any outstanding offensive dynamics, unless they get a gain.

yea, that's why I said I have a deal on the table pretty much

Weaver isn't a FA...I signed him for $2.5 x 3 years. I never said they were the same...just surprised to see you give up that much more considering there isn't really a huge difference. that is all...
