Pitching is phenomenal as expected. Hitting needs to improve though if I want to pull away in this division race. The power is there but the average isn't really elite. A-Rod and Baldelli especially. The Jamal Cress experiment failed, so he's going back to the minors for a bit and will give way to the Denard Span experiment. The Jake Blalock experiment is still in progress. He has 8 homers, but is hitting .204 and has struck out 49 times in 162 AB's. He's the next Adam Dunn.
I had a pretty good SIM for my first SIM after I took over the team. It seems the players I signed and brought up have already helped out in a little way which is good. The only thing is Dana Eveland is out for a week and C. Marrero is out for 5 weeks. Marrero isn't as big of a hit as Eveland because I have Jed Lowrie in the wings to take over.
