Your right Prov, I never had any problems with 6.5 before I had Vista, now nothing is working right with it. There were minor glitches, but not major problems.

I finally have a team that looks to be real good (Granted, it's early in the season, but the roster is good.) and there's problems with the league files.

I don't think its possible to keep the rosters the same. I don't know every roster let alone the minors. Also, 6.5 and 8 use different roster sets. I could have the draft done fast though.

hmmmm...that's true, i could use the reports online. i did lose the edited oster set though. I could try and recreate the old teams in version 8, it would take awhile though....at least a week or two, because i would have to partially edit and manually draft a couple thousand players. I could attempt it though if that's what the league wants.

If you start over Crazy... please take your time and create some depth. What I mean by that is after you have looked over the 5.0 and 4.5 specs... please make twice as many 3.0-4.0 and about 60 2.0-2.5 specs... Also a few borderline 26-28 year olds that are in the 1.0 to 2.0 range would be nice. Many of us see "potential" or "project players" from different views. IMHO, this is what separates the good from the very good. I am not "very good" yet, but enjoy trying to be. lol...

One other thing that has always bugged me about OOTP is the incongruancy (if that word fits) of some of the players. For instance, a 6'5" 230 lb guy should have ratings that favor a power hitter. A 160-185 guy can have speed and range. And for crying out loud, how can a player have 3 speed and 9 base stealing ability...??? I can see 7 speed and 9 stealing but not that much of a disparity. IOW, please take your time and try to look at a few of the better players to see if their ratings sound reasonable. I know you can't get them all, but if you already have the player screen up and edit is clicked... its only one more click...

Perhaps we can re draft, but.. hey, let's all pick a couple guys from our current teams as a starting piece and auto everything else?

I really don't care though, do another draft tonight. Just as long as you turn the scouts off before you draft. And also double check players, there were a lot of players that were not good that should be good.
