The teams are empty now because we need to do an inagural draft. You can see all of the players in the "rookie draft pool" link.

btw...now that the forums are back up, I should have the list of team owners up later today.

I guess we're going to have to do some hardcore scouting if we do any of the draft ourselves as that site lists the players alphabetically and not by rating...

yeah, I don't know if there is any way to sort the reports. I'm still playing aroudn with all of the options, but I haven't seen a way to change the way the reprots look yet.

How old is the roster set we are gonna be using?

The set was made in Feb 20008 from what I can tell. Although the creater did say that some of the ratings aren't updated... especially some of the prospects. So I updated some of the ratings. I noticed some of the top 10 prospects according to BA had really low potential ratings and were worthless in the game. I tried to get the prospects to where they should be, and raised the level of some major leaguers that were too low since we've added two teams to the league.

question: in the actual OOTP program, most of the statistics are out of 20, but here they appear to be out of 10. does it do that automatically or did you set it that way?

I set it that way... I think most GMs are used to it being 1-10, so I thought it would make things easier.

grrrrrr I just had a problem with my file.... so I'm fixing it now. So don't rely too heavily the ratings that are up now. I'm going to try and get them as they are now, but they won't be exact. I'll let you know when it's all good to go.

The forum and the site are two different logins... maybe that's the problem. If you registered for just the forum, then you will also need to register for the league webpage.

Go to...game setup>global setup... look at the ratings scales options towards the middle of the page. You cna change the scales to 1-10.

god damnit! i feel like such a moron. i looked for like 20 minutes trying to find that so i didn't have to ask you another freakin question about this program. but i couldn't find it. and i looked on that page too. i guess i'm just not in it the last few days. i usually figure this stuff out ridiculously fast. thanks for all the help crazy

ok...I uploaded the new file...everything should be good. I don't have time to look things over right now though. Feel free to check things out and let me know if anything is wrong. I'll be posting the team owners this evening, and then we can work on getting the draft underway. Please vote in the other thread or on the site so we can decide how to do the draft.
