League Signups

This league will be set up like old Strikes Back League. You can change the name of your team to almost anything,but all names are to be approved by the commish before being changed. We will begin the league with a complete fantasy draft. The draft can be live (for at least a few rounds), a list draft, or even a blind draft. I'll open a thread for the league to discuss which type of draft is best. I'm good with anything, but in my opinion, the more control each GM has in building their own team, the better.

This is how signups will work....

If you are new to the forum.... you may not be able to send private messages yet, so just post in this forum that you want a team, and the top 3 teams that you would like.

If you are an existing forum member... please send em a pm and let me know what top 3 teams you would like. I will do my best to get everybody the teams that they want the most. Although, it may not matter a lot since you can move your team anywhere, and will draft a completely new team.

No problem....I'll PM you! We're going to have several new simmers in our league, and I think that is one thing that will make it special. We have a lot of GMs that will be willing to help you out....so if anyone has any questions... just ask in the forum or send me a PM. I'll be happy to help any way I can, and I know a lot of the experienced GMs will be too.

quick question in regards to moving your team.

Does your team's location affect your team's revenue, and therefore what you can afford to spend on salary?

ie. If I move my team to South Dakota would that be utterly idiotic because I wouldn't have much of a budget to work with? Or would the budget only be affected by wins and losses and such?

In the old league we used OOTP 6.5 and it did not matter... there were teams in Savanna...Alaska....somewhere in Russia, and it didn't affect the finances. This time we will most likely be using OOTP 8, and I'm not familiar enough with the new engine to know the details, but I will find out.
