    Re: 2015 Random Ramblings

8-3 sim, just one game back of the division.
    CASH MONEY

5 END or not, Raymond Pfarr is ****ing ridiculous, he's gotta be the Cy Young favorite right now or at least close to it.

Jake Peavy's control seems to have taken a bump...
    Ugh...he's been rough lately
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

    Re: 2015 Random Ramblings

56-36, 1st place and only team above .500 in the West.

    Batting AVG: .275 (4th)
    Homeruns: 102 (5th)
    Walks: 294 (18th)
    Stolen Bases: 86 (19th)
    Runs Scored: 490 (6th)

    Pitching ERA: 4.00 (4th)
    Opponents AVG: .248 (6th)
    HRs Allowed: 104 (24th)
    Walks Allowed: 313 (17th)
    Runs Allowed: 420 (7th)

Completely checked out on Oakland and Texas and hopefully this time, this team wont blow this lead or ill just retire (not really). Torre is making a major run at MVP. Im just tempted to sit Wade Davis in April because he pitching so damn well outside of that month. Fruto is 20 saves away from 350.

Considering everyone and their grandmother predicted me to finish last in the division, if I can finish second, albeit a sub .500 second, I'd be pretty happy.

Daniel Boyer takes a bump on his control

Kyle Best takes a bump on his control
Kyle Best loses some movement on his pitches

Kevin Krout loses some feel for his "stuff"

    This is depressing.

    Re: 2015 Random Ramblings

Krout's stuff is still a 10. Boyer is still 10,8,7 and a 5 star spec. And what about:

    Wednesday 7/19/2015 :
Elroy Cavin has gained more power!

    Thursday 6/15/2015 :
Grant Willis seems to have improved his pure stuff!
Grant Willis is hitting his spots better, his command improved!

    Thursday 6/8/2015 :
Jeffrey Grable increased his bat control, resulting in more contact!

    Wednesday 6/7/2015 :
Bruno Nix is hitting his spots better, his command improved!

    Monday 6/26/2015 :
Mark Callaway positions himself better now, his range at LF increases to 8 ...
Mark Callaway positions himself better now, his range at RF increases to 9 ...

everyone gets the good and the bad...specs lose and gain talent all the time.

Yeah, but I wanted to be cynical!

(I was wondering how Krout "lost" stuff yet is still maxed out, though)

easy...the ratings show up as 1 - 10 on the site, but in the game they are 0 - 100, but can be over 100. 90 and above = 10, 80 - 89 = 9, etc...whatever he was before, it's still above 90 at the minimum. For example, one of my relievers, Cambra, gained talent a few times and his movement talent is 123 or something...

    Ah, I never knew that.

It'd be nice, then, if it just used the 0-100 scale on the site as well, then. At least IMO

I guess that explains this, too

I can change how the site shows the ratings...1 - 5, 1 - 10, 1 - 100 and such...it was already 1 - 10 and all the leagues here use that so I like to keep it consistent and leave it.

ugh, a dismal 2-8 in the last 10 games there. looks like toronto's wild card hopes are going down the drain. lead by chris shelton, stuck in an 0-21 slump.

On another note, does anyone have any contestants for rookie of the year? just wondering how the race is going. I have Christian Ricker, who's hitting .293 with 15 homers and 56 RBI's. He's also got 5 triples, and owns a Player of the Week award back in June. Anyone got people to challenge?

OK, Raymond Pfarr can't make it out of the 4th inning anymore because of his END...it's time to end that experiment after this season

yeah, everyone uses the 1-10 scale, and that's what we're all used to. it'd be annoying and hard to get used to a 100 scale, it's just annoying. the 10-scale is the status quo.

If it weren't for the NL Central, I'd have the best offense and pitching staff in the league.

I think everyone's just used to it because they've grown accustomed to it, but a 0-100 scale can give you a better gague on the player's abilities IMHO.

I don't think it'd take too long to get used to it, either, especially for those of us who have played a lot of Madden.

On a 1-10 scale you don't know if one 10 is better than the other 10.

But in a 0-100 scale it's easy to determine that the 97 is better than the 91
