However, in good news for the program, the word Nebraska does not appear in the ESPN.com article until the bottom quarter or so, and then it just says "Former University of Nebraska star..." and doesn't really go into the incident in Lincoln.

I'm really sad it has come to this for LP. I know he's a menace to society, but it's really sad he's sunk to the level of trying to Mike Tyson some kids and will probably end up in jail for a period of years. I can't even begin to fathom what's in his head and why he does these things. To make it worse, his targets are women and kids, and this time with a several thousand pound weapon.

I just hope that while in jail he'll choose to get some help and not just become a jail gangbanger. Maybe after he gets out he can become a productive member of society.
