That game had one flaw, Malkin. Sorry i had to say it, I had a good convo with a friend last night about this. He hasn't stepped up so far, and it's hurting the team. Hossa took his spot as "that guy" last year, and now when it's needed, he falls of the map. Also not having Malone I believe is hurting as well.

You're right on both counts. These games have been close and Malkin has not stepped up. I am hoping that returning to Pittsburgh will give a momentum change for Malkin and let him bring the game he is capable of in game 3.

Welcome back Malkin. He was so dominating on the ice and that first 10 minutes or so of the OT was some of the most nerve-wrecking hockey I've seen.

2-1, let's tie it up boys.

How about Cam Ward killing ti for the canes. He is playing himself onto the Canadian Olympic team as we speak.

    Bobby Lou
    Martin B.
    Cam Ward

If that's not one of the best 3 man groups in 2010, than I don't know what is?

Price as in Carey Price? Please.

Mason and Fleury I accept, but Carey Price should not be in this discussion. 2014 I can see him making a case for a spot on the roster, but unless we wins every game to start the season next year there isn't room on my roster for him.

When a native of Montreal says that. Somethings up.

Also of note, the ability of Vancouver to score the first goal. And Darcy Hordichuck is scoring? Something is wrong there.

    Re: Hockey playoffs selections.

His lackluster play was an obvious sign of how he gave up on the team and the fans. He's lazy, he doesn't seem like he cares, he can barely stop a ****ing puck (not to mention all the softies he lets in, at least one a night), yet he prances around with his holier than thou attitude like he's a ****ing god, when he's not. The guy hasn't done shit and he thinks he owns the town. **** him.

I think both of you are selling Price a bit short, the fans put way too much pressure on him during the 100th anniversary and only at the end of the season he reacted poorly

he got the habs to the playoffs especially with all those injures

your making his attitude like its worse than Avery's

Anaheim could have used Price tonight. Detroit lit them up early and often.
