LMFAO I turned on ESPN Classic this morning at 11:38 AM, and guess what's on it. THIS GAME.
I told you Reefer. Instant classic
Just another gross term used in sports like Manny being *****! It makes me sick!
In other news, they have been saying all morning that the Big East could have three #1 seeds in the tourney!!
Somehow, I was lucky enough to be at the Garden for the game last night. It was one of the best sporting events I have ever witnessed, much less actually attended. The atmosphere, the players, everything was amazing. The whole place was on its feet for the last hour of the game, maybe more. Somewhere about the third overtime I began rooting for Syracuse. Not sure why, maybe the crowd, or the people around me. But the game was just amazing. Words can't describe it, honestly. I was obviously much more interested in the West Virginia - Pittsburgh game, which was pretty awesome for me in the first place. But to follow it up with that last game, in addition to the Villanova last second win earlier in the day, made that one hell of an experience and one I'll certainly never forget.
Though I ain't no expert baller, I can't see all three of those ACC teams making it to the final 4 ala last year. They all have there flaws, and they can be beaten.
Only one ACC team made the final four last year.
Syracuse = team of destiny
I don't get why the ranked teams should bother with their conference tournaments. One loss in the NCAA tournament and you're done. Everything in the regular season and conference tourneys will have been for nothing.
Two words:
1. Television
2. Money
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
A one and done tournament after 35-40 regular season games is still a shitty method to crown a champion. The fact that George Mason was decidedly the 3rd/4th best team in the country a few years ago is a disgrace.
Hell of a job the last 2 days by SU.
2003 Hybrid World Champion (115-47 reg season, 11-4 playoffs)
TBL: Anaheim Angels 2006-present (238-244 regular season, 1 division title)
MSL: St Louis Cardinals 2013-present (2734-2936 regular season, 5 division titles, 2 championships)
TSSL: Seattle Mariners 2006-2029, Pittsburgh Pirates 2030-present (209-277, 5 division titles w/SEA, 1 championship w/SEA)
The NCAA Tourney is the best postseason in all of sports, they don't always get the best team as Champion but it's a sacrifice for having such a great Tourney. My team would probably have 10-15 titles if they played a best of 5 or best of 7 but it's best for the game to have the Tourney the way it is now.
Louisville finishes the year at #1 and the Big East gets three #1 seeds
