you can see my house in the top left of the 2nd picture. The cops are still here. And it's Lenox Ave, not Street. I actually heard the shots. A car pulled up next to the car you see in the pics and unloaded about 6 shots IIRC.

Providence Police ID Shooting Victim in Botched Robbery Attempt | ABC 6 | News

ABC 6 has new information this about Monday night's shooting in Providence. We now know the name of the victim that was shot during the attempted robbery. His name is 27-year old Miguel Alicea of Providence, and he is still in critical condition at Rhode Island Hospital.

Police say Alicea was behind the wheel of a car in the area of Lenox and Elmwood Avenue around 5:30 pm, when he was shot in the chest.

Investigators say a 17-year old male had jumped into the car with a gun and attempted to rob Alicea and two others in the car. A struggle ensued, the gun went off, and Alicea was the one hit by the bullet.

One of the men in the car, 22-year old Jeffrey Castro of Cranston tells police that after Alicea was shot, he jumped out of the car and pinned the suspect down until police arrived.

ummm, no...rest assured, they are not. obviously, they were after whoever was in the car today...and the one on Monday was a botched robbery.

c'mon, there are other streets in Providence...really. Hell, there is even another end of the street half a mile away...go over there. This was a few houses over...in between the first two at the end of October.
