Anyone been to a Metallica concert recently?

They're coming to Little Rock in November.

Like what seems to be the overlying opinion I like their old stuff, but not their recent stuff as much.

Are they still great live, though?

I still want to go, even if they're not as good as they once were, but I may think twice if they completely suck even playing their old stuff now.

I don't see how they could be bad live. I love their stuff both old and new.

Their classic stuff is some of the greatest music ever.

Their newer stuff, while I don't think it's as bad as some others say it is, isn't quite as good.

i saw them 3 times in the late 90's/early 00's. really good stuff, even their Reload stuff was pretty good live, though the older stuff was better.

Leo, did you buy the new album? I saw that it was cheap (10 bucks) and figured to give it a try. Its not their best stuff, but it IS better than anything they have done since at least Load (and maybe even Justice).

QFT. Death Magnetic is by far the best album they've had in at least 15+ years.
