Best Bang for your buck nominees.

We are almost to the midpoint in the season and I Just thought it would be interesting to see who everyone thought was the best bang for the buck...

Yes most of us have heard of Edwin Encarncion, Justin "Give him the MVP" Huber, Mickey Ouimet, Alex Morabito who make much much more than any of us can even imagine well this award is for the guys who not everyone knows.

Restrictions: Must be in arby at least (no super stud 300k guys)
I like to put the first nomination for this as 2b Ralph Lubin http://www.strike3sim.com/League/p1827.html

Career .275 hitter, hitting 45 points higher than that this year so far and hit .290 last year. Gold Glove winner, making 350k this year.

Gio Gonzalez. .358 AVG, .390 OBP. And he's eligible for arbitration, .300+ every year but one.

Heriberto Lamas: http://strike3sim.com/League/p3359.html 2.8 mil for that kind of success is fantastic.

Luis Rodriguez: http://strike3sim.com/League/p2408.html 2.66 mil... solid performance for that type of money. Best suited as a 5 hitter, always had his best success batting 5th.

Everyone else on my team is either a given because they're making minimum(rookies), or overpaid dickwads.

George Neely is the only big time producer for me with an economical price tag. http://www.strike3sim.com/League/p1665.html

If I had arbitrated Gonzalo last year instead of signing him to a huge extension he would sure qualify, but as it is he's making $10 mil a year.

Jeremy Gordon is a fairly cheap .310+ AVG. player with solid D.

    He sucks vs. lhp though.

acquired from the white sox along with nathan sonnier last season in what was just a dump trade at the time that looked like i'd get jack in return, he's completely saved me this year by filling in at the leadoff spot. sonnier ain't too shabby either.

I dont care he only makes 300 K, hes about to get an extension.

    Michael Bartel

He only makes 1.6 M and has a career .314 BA which would be 12th all time right now.
