I'll see if I can do more tommorow, although it will be late tommorow (well, really today)

Very satisfied with Lane Carter's position.
I honestly did not expect him to do this good with no prior MLB experience.

Actually, you didn't forget Gracey. He played first base and got crippled this year.

  4. #34
Well, I'm too lazy to switch him back, so he's a catcher now

    OK, fixed again

I still have to do NL Central and West for 1B, then a new set of 1B rankings should be up

    The 1B List

-Many, many VERY close rankings (based on stats (2016 and career), ratings, speed, and fielding, although those last two don't apply much at 1B). So really, many of these guys could move up or down significantly based on opinion

-You know the drill, the Top 30 (one per team, defintiely not the Top 30 overall 1B)

    1. Milo Kotter (MIN)
    2. Miguel Cardillo (COL)
    3. James Loney (BAL)
    4. Robert Riley (LAD)
    5. James Mann (CHW)
    6. Rick Porter (TBD)
    7. Joey Votto (STL)
    8. Michael Gracey (ANA)
    9. Andre Willard (OAK)
    10. Ramon Valdovinos (HOU)

If only Bartel could hit Lefties regularly

Edit- I dont see why hes not 10th at all hes got a higher OPS and OBP then both of the 2 ahead of him for that spot. He has a batting title to his name as well. So he doesnt hit 15-20 HRs. Hes a shoe in for .330-.400-.420 in the 2 hole.

It wasn't based all on stats. If it were, he would have been higher. But I like a 7-7-7-9 or 7-9-6-5 over a 9-6-3-7, although not by much. As I said, it's close and many of these could be argued to be higher or lower

BTW, in the case of a player who is a DH, I'm assuming we won't do a Top DH list, so the BAP is the player of position. Like Rickie Weeks over Lubin on MIN

no love at all for tagg bozied, who i could make a case for having equal the year #9 andre willard did. i suppose his ratings arent wonderful... but hes still mashing at 37, gave me 30 homers and 115 rbis last year.

  13. #43
Yeah, Tagg got robbed a bit. He should probably be moved up several spots.

I moved him (Bozied) up a few slots, in spite of having a similar year and ratings (IMO worse, but it's really close) to a guy a few slots below (Broadway)
