    San Diego's a huge military town.

    I'm fairly certain the only city in the US that's a bigger military city is Norfolk, Virginia

    The Padres sell themselves as the "unofficial team of the US Military"

    They do a lot of stuff to honor the military, to include the camouflage uniforms.

    Every Sunday there's a group of Marines that attend the game and sit in the RF view section.

    I think they get their tickets for free, but I'm not sure.

    I'm pretty sure they are free tickets and some of the proceeds from the camo uniforms go towards the troops.

    I'm stationed right outside of Norfolk. Their is a huge military presence around here. Lot of retirees as well. I don't think the AF has a base in SD unless if it's Guard or Reserve.
