you know, you don't have to entitle the thread with an inquiry as to why there isn't a thread yet everytime.

Everyone is entitled to start a series thread, it's just that I usually end up being the first one all the time whenever i'm not slacking as I have been.

That and the Padres need to stop leaving runners stranded.

I just wanted to add a funny title to the thread, that's it. No harm, no foul to any one around.

Ramon Ortiz beat the should-have-been all-star Chris Young?
He is supposed to be better than that. He has been giving up a few too many homeruns this year though, 23 in 22 starts. Kind of wierd considering he only gave up 19 in 31 starts in '05 as a Ranger.

Somehow we make subpar pitchers look like All-Stars. (Also see Brandon Backe)

Why the Nationals continue to bat Soriano first is beyond me.

16 LOB and its only the 4th inning. That is pathetic.

Outside of the first inning with Soriano, Peavy has been doing pretty good.

I just don't get how you can leave 16 people in scoring position and not score a single run.

What has been more anemic lately: the padres offense or Lindsay Lohan's judgement?
