Buncha B.S., he turned a simple rumor into some bizarro-scenario.

There's a bigger chance of Barry Zito being traded to the Padres than there is of the Padres trading Chris Young.

He pulled that shit out of somewhere. I know he's no Peter Gammons, but he certainly didn't just make it up. Boston tabloids perhaps?

You're right, the Boston papers make the shit up! They along with the NY papers have been doing it since before I was sperm. Lots of bullshit in big cities!

The Peavy-Lowell rumors got started because Jeff Brantly mentioned it in jest as Baseball Tonight was going off the air after they reported that Boston was "looking for pitching"

If Boston landed Chris Young, given how good he has been, that would almost offset the Abreu trade. Especially since the yankees still have iffy pitchers between the 1-3 and Mo. I wouldn't even begin to try and figure out what San Diego would be thinking, if they in fact did that.

If Boston landed Chris Young it better be for Johnathan Palpelbon, Jon Lester, Mark Loretta, and Josh Beckett.

I know he's not that good, but he still should NOT be traded, which is the main point I was trying to make with that assinine trade proposal.

I wish the A's would trade Adam Melhuse for Jake Peavy and SD's top 3 specs...now that's would be a fair deal
