Re: Public Knowledge of Rejected Deals

The thread should be locked after its posted. That ends that debate. The posted vetoed deal will have that criteria laid out for everyone to see.

Yes the thread would be locked. Not that I think anyone in this league would dip as low as the individual in Molina's league did. But people take things too seriously so it would be a precautionary move.

12-5 vote (reefer's does not count)

Re: Public Knowledge of Rejected Deals

I think they definitely should be posted as to let the owners and the league know what was offered and why the trade was rejected. This would give the original owners of the trade the information they need to possibly work out a new trade. If the original owners don't want to continue it would also give new owners an idea of what it would take to make a deal happen.

The definative answer. I second this.

I didn't vote because I honestly don't care either way and do not want a non-caring vote to influence what happens. I just started doing it in my league so I wouldn't get PM's asking why trades were vetoed.

I can agree with Dave-o. I personally liked hammer's reason "cause Saber and I hate you". Works for me as well.

Re: Public Knowledge of Rejected Deals

I just looked up the controversy in Molina's league, and I have to side with the guy complaining (although not his methods).

There is just way too many arbitrary factors the TC is considering, trading history, team rosters, etc etc.

I really don't think posting vetoed deals is the major issues, I think more clearly defined criteria would benefit all.

And yes, the threads will be locked but that won't prevent anybody from making new threads or discussing deals in the season threads.

Re: Public Knowledge of Rejected Deals

Impossibles, I am going to work with the TC over the next few weeks on some criteria. Maybe 5 or 6 common buckets for why a trade failed. Not perfect, but anytime a trade fails, it should fall into one of the buckets and that will be identified to the parties involved.

Renz is much better than Solis ever will be, that guy was giving up less for Renz than Solis got in his deal.
