Bleh, shouldn't have went to Mikey for a second inning.
Oh well, better than expected against Pedro and Wags.

such a great gaem but I was so mad it had to end that way.. I knew he was going to but I wish the Pirates could have pulled this one outOriginally Posted by DirtyKash
6-0 loss tonight.
Glavine gave up 3 hits in 7 innings and struck out 10. Maholm gave up only 1 ER(bases loaded walk in the 3rd), and Torres gave up 5 runs without getting an out.
*sigh*
sigh, why bother to even watch. another 6-0 shut out. steelers training camp can't get here fast enough, at least mini camp is this weekend.
Jose Bautista has been called up(I believe to replace Randa on the roster) and is leading off and playing RF this afternoon.
McLouth has been drop to #2 today.
What is Tracy thinking, batting a power hitter as a lead-off guy?
5-4 Washington win on Sunday.'
Jose Bautista went 3 for 4 with a walk and an RBI in his return to the majors. Should've been batting 6th today, though, instead of Jose Hernandez, who left 7 men on base.
Zach Duke took the loss, but it seems like he will be a pretty good starter for years to come. I wish we had him!

Looks like the injury bug is biting you guys now. Kinda sucks...i was hoping the Reds and Pirates could do something this year.
I'm not sure how much I mind some of these injuries.
Casey getting hurt allowed Craig to play everyday, which increased his trade value. Randa getting hurt let Freddy play everyday, and it's obvious he's a better hitter than Randa is right now, anyway, plus, got Jose Bautista back to the majors to backup in the outfield and at 3rd.
2 injuries, and while they don't help the team, they really don't hurt it.

The Pirates need to look to 2008, when Wilson and McCutchon are ready.
You figure...
CA N. Wilson(Backup Doumit or Paulino)
1B B. Eldred
2B J. Castillo
SS J. Wilson
3B J. Bautista
LF J. Bay
CF A. McCutchon
RF N. McLouth
Not bad at all. I really like the idea, with the pitching staff, too.
How old is Jack Wilson? Is he in the future plans for the Pirates at Short?
Jack is 28, and he's signed through 2009(with an option for 2010).
3 with Arizona at home starting tonight, capped off by an afternoon game on Thursday, that if I don't go to the game, I'll probably try to get a gameday in.
Batista v. Snell tonight.
1-2-3 top of the first for Ian.
Keep it up, I.S.
