Duke's domination of the Cubs continued today when he threw his first MLB shutout in an 8-0.

Freddy Sanchez went 3 for 5 as the #3 hitter(Wha?), and the team hit Angel Guzman pretty hard.

    Jeremy Burnitz homered for PIT.

I'm glad to see that the Pirates still know how to score runs

Ian Snell v. Pedro tonight in New York.

It's going to be a looooong night.

Why do you say that? Smelly has been fantastic his last two starts. I think he'll have a good outing and surprise everyone. First loss for Pedro.

I funny expect Randa to be back in the lineup, therefor, our 2nd best hitter(Freddy Sanchez) will once again be on the bench and the offense will struggle.

I'll take Pedro and the Mets 7-1.

true about Randa he will most likely be back in even though Freddy is doing good....I went to the Phillies game Friday and Snell really had me going, he pitched great. Now lets hope the Mets see this side of Snell also

    1-1 going bottom 4.

Freddy Sanchez has homered for the Bucs and Ian Snell has scattered 3 doubles and 3 walks, to go with his 7 K's through 3.

He's pitching well, but still through 4 innings, he's given up 4 hits and walked 4. Not exactly what you want to see.

What matters is on the scoreboard. He's doing a great job in my book.

Snell dominates Beltran, Delgado and Wright and strikes out another as we go to the 6th.

    WTF?

Endy Chavez RBI double and he's 3 for 3.

    2-1 Mets.

Pirates get 2 in the 9th on RBI singles from Ronny Paulino and Jose Hernandez off of Billy Wagner.

    Going top 10, 3-3.
