Roster moves

Angel Berroa, David Robertson and Mark Melancon are up from Triple-A.
Brian Bruney, Cody Ransom and Chien Wang get shelved.

Berroa is playing 3B today, should be interesting. Didn't know he was a third baseman.

Tough break for Bruney and Ransom. Real tough brank for the Yankees on Bruney. He's been one of the few studs in the pen. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

Look out for Mark Melancon though. He will eventually be the successor to Mo if everything goes right. He's got filthy stuff.

I would call Angle Berroa trash but then I would be labeled as a Yankee basher.

Angel Berroa was a decent player -- once. Now, he's just a journeyman player, IMO. He's been playing 3B in the minors, some, but had played 1/3 inning there in the bigs before tonight.
Bruney has been a bright spot in an otherwise dull season for the Yankees pitching.

Berroa looks like a guy who's played a 1/3rd of an inning at 3B. Really, the Empire resorts to him as a backup 3B?

Mark Melan-"kone" has been optioned out to make room for Kevin Cash. Too bad.
