Since this scenario is purely hypothetical, your opinion about it is just that, your opinion. There's nothing to refute.

Are we asking him to do this literally? No, this situation was a hypothetical, calm down there blood-pressure. Are we asking A-Rod to be Willy Mays(Greg Nettles) at CF (3b)? No, believe it or not, A-Rod has a job because of his offense. PM me if you would like me to explain to you what positions on the field that offense is supposed to come from. A-Rod is fine at 3b, not spectacular by ant means, but the runs he creates with the bat out-weigh the few that slip through his glove.

This thread is hypothetical. That means its not actually happening. The last thing I was trying to do was ruffle any feathers.

Yes, because of his offense, so quit riding him because of his defense.

If you read my post, you would have seen that I told you to PM me if you're confused. That point would be off the topic of this thread.

I am not the one riding him on his defense. I am the only sane person here that is saying that it will take him time. He was a Gold Glove SS before coming to the Yanks. If he keeps working hard, he will be a GG thrid baseman. Funny how Jeter's only GG came when Arod had to move.
