Michael Cuddyer left Sunday's game with an injury to his right index finger and has been taken for X-rays.
He's likely day-to-day, but if it's a serious injury, then both Carlos Gomez and Delmon Young would get to play fairly regularly.

Yup. My bad. Oh well...
They are reporting it's just a strain...sounds like he'll be day to day.

Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
Good to hear. Never want to see a guy like Cuddyer go down for too long. I wasn't watching obviously, did you see what he did to injure it?
It was his first at bat in the second inning. He struck out swinging, and when they went out in the bottom of the inning, Delmon Young went to left, and Span moved from left to right. He must have tweaked it when he swung.

Isn't that the finger he messed up last season?

Yes it is.
Reports are saying he could be back as early as tomorrow.
