Brewers sign IF Abraham Nunez to a minor-league contract.

Nunez is he the guy from the Pirates that hits around the Mendoza line?


The Brewers need to get closer with there offers to Hardy and Bush, especially Hardy.

I have mixed feelings on this signing. The Brewers picked up Ned Yost's option for 2009 yesterday. Pressure is on him even more now. He needs to step it up this year. He is blessed with a young, talented, and now competitive team. He needs to be on a short leash.

me 2...I think Yost a step in the right direction for the brewers...by the way the offseason is so boring it just makes you value and appreciate the brewers and baseball season a whole lot more don't ya think

But the injury bug has bitten us early. Poor Yovani tore a muscle in his left knee. He'll need surgery and be out of spring training for a month.

O great! well at least he will be back for the regular season , but this dosnet help us sorting out a pitching rotation order wich is still very unsorted.

Yovani from what I saw from afar last season is a very talented young pitcher. I sure hope he is only out for spring training and no more. Pitching is key and with him in the staff it will only help the Brewers chances.
