    By the way his OPS+ is 33rd all time, tied with some Alex Rodiguez guy.

    I hope you don't think I'm saying Edgar isn't talented. Haha. He was a really great player. But it's a question of your opinion on the DH....just like the Closer. And unfortunately, some of the really really really great ones just won't get in....and I'm not sure I disagree with that.

    I just think with his numbers he should be in. I just wished he stayed healthy. I dont think that you would say Edgar wasn't talented. Its the HOF angle that we have disagreements on.
