Well I went to the talk. It was a ton of fun. They talked about a lot of fun topics, like the collective bargaining agreement, steroids, Lackey, Holliday, Scott Boras, and a lot of other things.

I ended up talking to Kurkjian and he personally gave me his cell number so I can use it to get him on the show next summer, and if I decide to do any shows over the winter break. I was really pumped about that. Also found out his daughter is also a freshman here at Cuse. She's pretty cute, and I talked to her for a while.

It was funny because when we were allowed to ask questions, I asked them how Twitter has revolutionized the sports journalism industry. Stark answered by saying it's done wonders for them, and that it's almost become a problem at ESPN where guys are putting too much information on their Twitter and people are reading those instead of the ESPN.com content, so ESPN asked them to not tweet so much information at once. Then he turned to Tim and immediately his daughter piped up from the audience and said that Kurkjian is the most technologically inept guy on the planet and no sooner will he be getting a Twitter than he will sprout wings. The whole room burst out laughing, it was pretty hilarious.

A great time overall. I'm uploading pictures now, I didn't get any with them myself but I took a few shots of them talking up front.
