I guess all I am saying is, you may not even need Dunn as bad as you think. Lind could be a big bat for you guys in the future. I didn't know he has struggled in his MLB stints though.

while Lind is good, he's not a smasher like Dunn.

JP have built the current Jays with players that have 20-30 HR power throughout the lineup (Wells, Rios, Overbay, Rolen, Stairs) but I wouldn't call any of them clean up hitters like Dunn could be, plus having another left-handed power hitter can't hurt in a heavy right-handed lineup, especially in the middle.

Lind barely gets a real chance, his call up this year was nothing, the Jays were not going to keep him up even with good results. He's 24 years old now, the Jays can't keep him in the minors forever hoping for the impossible.

2007 was a good year for Lind as a rookie, .238 avg, 11 HR 42 RBI in 290 AB, struggled at end but was sent down when Johnson was healthy again, and Johnson was worst then Lind at the plate.
