    Umm...06/06 Game Thread vs. Cards

    Late start. Surprised no thread.

Currently 2 outs in the top of the 6th, Reds winning 4-3. We were up 4-1 until the Cards scratched 2 across in the bot of the 5th.

Reds fail to score. 1 on, one out for STL in the bottom half.

Rolen singles to right, Edmonds to 3rd....still one out. Bronson Arroyo has reached the breaking point. Narron's eyes twitch towards the big top....clowns are busy painting their faces and applying their makeup as it is almost their time to shine.

Juan E pops out in the infield, giving Coffey more time to slip into the size 23's. 2 down.

Aaron Miles hits a sort-of line drive to left which Adam Dunn triumphantly snares. More clowns piling into the Volkswagen Beetle. End of inning, Reds temporarily retain the lead.

2 quickly down in the top of the 7th...facing a lefty.

Reds retired as harmlessly as possible in the 7th. The precarious 1 run advantage remains.

Re: Umm...06/06 Game Thread vs. Cards

Arroyo decides to do the bullpen's work for them and surrenders a dinger to some guy named "Ludwig" that no one has ever heard of. 4-4 game.
The Reds and a late lead are a lot like people are with beer - you don't buy it, you rent it.

Next batter singles. Stanton in the bullpen. Liquor being poured.

Arroyo fools Chris Duncan. Stanton stops throwing, his best stuff wasted in his first 8 warmup pitches. Arroyo v. Poo-holes is happening.

Poo-holes takes BA Baracus yard. I pity the fool that invests himself in this Reds team.

    6-4 Cards.

Stanton's first pitch is tatooed into left center. He's on the way out. Great call by Narron.

Snapshot of Mike as he left the bump:

The Merry-Go-Round spits out Mr. Coffey. Facing Scott "Rockin'" Rolen. Should be good times.
