Timlin signed to one year deal

    http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slu...ball&type=lgns

    News
The Red Sox and reliever Mike Timlin agreed to terms on a one-year deal Saturday. The details won't be announced until Timlin passes a physical, which will likely happen on Wednesday, MLB.com reported.

Considering the comedy of errors that was the Red Sox bullpen in 2005 and the fact that we have no idea who the Sox will acquire or if Foulke will be healthy, this can only be good, even if he sucks.

That means, it is likely between Infinity and Infinity^2 per year with a mutual option for $9.45 and 1% of Red Sox ownership.

He wasn't asking for much money, actually.
''I just want to be able to do this and get this done," said Timlin. ''I'm not going to say I need two years. We'll do what we can to re-sign with Boston."

Fantastic. Timlin's been great since he has been here, I'd think a lot of elite set-up pitchers would have freaked out when they heard Schilling would be closer, but Timlin just went with it.

BTW, welcome to the forum Manny Ortez, I hope you stay for a while. Great username.
