Jeff Francoeur sent down to AA to figure out his swing

This is a tough choice that got the best of Francoeur. Braves GM Frank Wren said that in 23 years making decisions in baseball, this was his toughest. The hometown hero was booed at home after going 0-4 yesterday.

Actually, Francoeur was sent down to AA... Just a head up.

A change of scenery should be helpful for Joe Borkowski if not he's got a long way to go.

Borowski was designated for assignment by Cleveland just recently. And Kobiashi or however you spell it was named the Cleveland Indians new closer.

Braves recalled OF Jeff Francoeur from Double-A Mississippi.
Francoeur lasted three games in Mississippi, where he went 7-for-13 with a triple and two RBI. It's unlikely that one weekend away from the big leagues cured all that ails him, but it certainly could have helped the 24-year-old. Francoeur picked to go to Double-A because he credits manager Phillip Wellman, who used to be the hitting coach, with changing his career during one night of work three years ago. Hopefully the time in the minors gave him at least something to build off of.

That was quick!! Now let's see if it works. I doubt it but who knows. Sad to see the Braves going downhill so fast.
