Matt Diaz crashed into the wall yesterday and suffered a strained PCL. He was placed on the DL, and will return to Atlanta today and will get a better diagnosis. MLB.com is saying there is a possibility it could be a serious injury, but if it stays at a strained PCL, he shouldn't be out for more than a few weeks. He hit the wall while trying to catch a foul fly ball by Prince Fielder. His left knee hit an unpadded part of the wall, and in addition to the ligament damage he needed 4 stitches.

Reliever Rafael Soriano will be activated from the DL in a disabled list swap. Soriano hasn't pitched since April 6th, even though no structural damage was ever found in his elbow. Bobby Cox said he wants to work with an extra pitcher for the next few days and see how the team works around it.
