At least make it a Teddy Long special... Dean/Seth vs AJ/Cena and see how you can find ways for them to turn on others.

And this is why I hate face versus face feuds for a main event belt. Sure, they give them the token heat, typically fueled by accidental kicks and knock downs and the other guy thinking it was on purpose, but the bulk of the build up has to be pushed by some 3rd party heel who's not involved in the match attacking both of them (in this case, Bray Wyatt). It always seems forced and just comes off like the heel is out of place.

I will say this one has been a little more palatable than most face versus face buildups. The initial promo from Dean telling Dolph he isn't as good as he thinks he is was a lot better than most "I don't like you but I respect you!" themed promos in these types of match ups. Also, Bray Wyatt makes a little more sense as a random heel interjecting himself in someone else's feud as seemingly randomly interjecting himself into someone else's business is his thing anyway.

But even so, it still bleeds of many of the annoying things I hate about face versus face matchups...especially when every time I see Bray out there it just reminds me again how the match should be Dean versus Bray.

So is Seth Rollins a face because he was screwed by Triple H or is Triple H a face because he screwed Seth Rollins? Is Kevin Owens the bad guy for picking up a belt he didn't earn or is he the good guy by default because this time it wasn't Seth who was handed the title?

I'm guessing it's a Seth Rollins face turn, but I'm not completely sure because they had Kevin Owens act completely surprised to show that he wasn't in on it.

Seth should have face turned immediately upon his return, but that's a different complaint.

Seth is face. Although I wonder how much stronger of a face he would have been if they let him become a face after his return, his pop was pretty damn good. The funny thing to me is, how much this was, but wasn't, affected by Balor's injury. So now they were out a top face, but HHH v Rollins has been in the cards for a while now.

Since Owens/Balor was supposed to happen next, I am hoping they let KO keep the belt for a good amount of time, and maybe that is Mania next year.

If I'm booking it Lesnar wins, but I wouldn't mind him losing.

But losing like that was just stupid.

i kinda liked it. shock value one, two its easily explainable that lesnar was way overconfident and got taken down by a guy whos still a legit contender... which can put brock into extra beast mode. plus, a 10-15 minute match out of those two, after the awesome mens survivor series match, wouldve sucked the emotion right out of the building. book that match like a regular goldberg match, move forward. im sure it isnt the last time we'll see those two against each other anyway.

speaking of which, hey slyder, it only took putting randy orton with him... and letting randy orton do every goddamn thing in the match... but bray wyatt finally got a meaningful win!

I don't understand how anyone outside of the biggest Goldberg marks can be ok with that outcome.

They took someone who they've booked as an unstoppable beast that can be a main event match with no titles involved, who merely pitting him against someone creates a "holy shit" stir, and made him look like James Elsworth against a 49 year old retiree.

I'm fine with Goldberg winning the match, especially if there is a rematch coming at the Rumble. But he shouldn't have won it like that.

Pure garbage.

I put that booking up there with the finger poke of doom with how stupid it was. The finger poke gets the slight edge only because it involved the World Championship title.
