I guess I could see that, but since I don't think he's really debuting tonight, someone not named Sting comes out and crushes him.

Who did he piss off to deserve this?

This was his last one with the classic Sting paint prior to that.

I loved Crow Sting, but your right. Most of wcw music didn't stick. The most iconic theme from WCW IMO was voodoo chilli (Jimmi Hendrix) for the nWo.

The arguably most iconic WCW created song will probably always be the Horsemen.
    The Wolfpack theme wasn't bad.
DDP was Smells like Teen Spirit.
I liked Booker T/Harlem Heat had a unique sound to it and fit them.

Its one place where WWF/WWE runs circles around everyone else is the themes. Not everyone can have Jim Johnston writing for them.

I'd say Harlem Heat has the most unique sound for WCW themes if you remove the iconic stature of the Horsemen. Well, behind Flair I guess, lol

The fact that the E kept that one and still uses it today says something.

I liked Jarrett's theme from the Slap Nutz era.

But like most of their more well known themes they're still borrowing from established songs and just tweaking them a bit.

(In this case Cowboy from Kid Rock)

The reason I don't normally count guys like Flair, LOD, Piper, Freebirds, etc. is they tended to use the same song/music regardless of if they were in Minneapolis, Texas, Memphis, Atlanta, NY, etc. It really didn't change regardless of where they were.

And you're right whoever came up with the Harlem Heat song did something right and very special.

    Re: Official WWE Thread

So after a couple weeks, the cryptic tweet from Sting has me wanting to watch Raw and tolerating the Cena BS. We shall see if its a "One Night Only" deal or if WWE shows me that its worth watching again.

I know this is the WWE thread but I saw a bit of Impact last week and it actually looked interesting with how they were using Lashley as champ and MVP as his "manager". I might watch it Friday I have heard a lot of mixed reviews including Rhyno vs Buh Buh I mean Bully Ray.

so, the ic title battle royal... perfect time to unify the us and ic belts, no? i dont care about sheamus as much as anyone else, but its the perfect time to make the ic title relevant again. and have sheamus drop it to someone relevant at summerslam.

I'm hoping if they go that way then as Barrett's about to hand it over he goes "I've got some Bad News for you" Bull Hammer and he walks out with both belts.

Sheamus is as boring as Cena and pushed the same way.

I must say I am enjoying this raw. Except for that little whatever you call it from Cena. Good Crowd tonight, not night after Wrestlemania but still extremely involved except for Sheamus.
