It's stupid to have Arquette holding the title, but the E should bring this match type back. (The triple cage with the belt on top of the top cage).

War Games should be ressurected too....but I can understand why they wouldn't want to overshadow the Rumble with a bigger version.

Watching this DDP/Jarrett/Arquette match again, it really is a pretty good match even despite Arquette not needing to be a part of it.

They should have done it with DDP just holding the title going into it.

war games was the double cage/ring with two teams [and once, three teams] going at each other, one entrant at a time. world war 3 was the bigger version of the royal rumble... triple rring clusterfuck. it was always interesting, but the first 15 minutes of the match was always a complete mess.

that really was about the end of it, and the fingerpoke of doom was the nail. but that night was hilarious... it was something crazy like half their viewers switched over to see foley win the belt.

They had the right idea going live while WWF was taping, but you don't tell your audience that a fan favorite is about to win the title while you're wanting them to watch your show

Now I'm going to watch DDP win his first ever WCW title at Spring Stampede.

Page was my favorite wrestler during the nWo era and was the only thing that kept me watching after the WCW downfall with the Triad.

always liked ddp. shame he didnt really get big til he was already in his late 30s. and shame he got put in that awful stalker gimmick from jump street in wwf, for multiple reasons. a, he was just an easy guy to cheer for... a modern[er] day dusty rhodes, blue collar hard working guy. b, his wife was kimberly page, and she was about 8 million times hotter than undertakers wife at the time.

I wish we had this type of commentary in WWE.

Even in WCW's shitty years the commentators knew how to call a match. (And didn't have corporate forcing them to ruin it)
