Sabathia is the NL MVP no question... Brewers would be way outwithout him

    Re: NL MVP Time!

Brewers were in the lead in the Wild Card without Sabathia. C.C. just kept them in the lead. It is Pujols because without him the Cards wouldn't be the third best team in the NL. I will take Pujols 124 games of dominance over Sabathia's 11. I am just glad Ryan Howard and Sabathia weren't options!!

Why would Howard be an option? I'd rather have Utley and Burrell over him this year.

I think saying pitchers can't win the MVP is a joke, but anyway Pujols wins this by far, his walk to strikeout ratio is UN-BE-LIEV-A-BLE
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

    Sabathia is a feared hitter.

I think it's a joke that someone who only affects 20% of a team's games can be considered the most valuable player for a team in the entire league.

Although, I'm not as hard pressed against pitchers winning the MVP as I am non-rookies (ie Japanese imports) winning the Rookie of the Year award.

    Re: NL MVP Time!

What if the import is as young as most highly touted rookies?

If the import is a rookie, then sure.

It's not a race issue. It's an issue of whether or not the player is actually a rookie.

Ryan Braun. Give me the guy whose team is leading the wild card over the guy whose team isn't going to make the playoffs.

Yeah poor Pujols being on the third best team in the NL What was he thinking leading a team who no one thought had a chance into contention going into the last month? Pujols' numbers are just too good!!
