The guy who hosted Baseball Tonight last night mentioned him as a possible MVP candidate. I almost choked on my food!

And what does every team need normally. I'll spell it out. P-I-T-C-H-I-N-G.

    Anyways,

    Phat Albert is my vote.

yes but how is it fair for pitchers to have 2, potentially 3 awards (with the Rolaids Relief Man), and batters only 1? It's a batters' only award.

You forgot the silver slugger. Its 2.

It's annoys me to no end that MVP is only a "batters only award" then call it a MVB if your going to do that. It's called most valuable player and considering Sabathia is 9-0 with 6 CGs, 3 SHOs and has a absurd 85 to 18 K/BB to go with his 1.48 ERA. He's been every bit valuable to the Brewers.

Here's what stops the argument: He was 6-8 with a 3.7 ERA with the Indians.

The Silver Slugger is position specific. Pitchers are only one position. That's why it exists.

Then on that logic the Batters have 9 different awards to the pitchers 3.

but it's fair because the batters are all different positions. a pitcher is one position. granted it's way different than the others, but technically, going by your logic here, it's 1 position just like catcher or 3rd base. so it's fair

I'm sure you could spell out either name using all the letters of the listed players though.
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted

Cut the bottom off a y or shorten it to Da Wright, like CC Sabathia

    Re: NL MVP Time!

Well, if you take the "Jose R" from Albert Pujols, the "eye" from Hanley Ramirez, and the "s" from Chase Utley, you can spell Jose Reyes.
