Welcome to the house that Jim Bowden built.
(I think the roof is about to cave in on our head.)

Are any of you surprised? This team possesses one of the worst OF's of all-time.

I don't think anyone here expected the Nats to be giving the Phillies or the Mets a run for their money, but I thought they would have notched win one by the end of the week (not due to talent, just probability that they would have had at least one win.)

The Tigers last year not winning a game was a shock, not so much the Nats who have nothing good going for them.

The Padres leading their division is more shocking than this. Expecting that it is more than likely for even the worst team to have one win and them not getting it isn't shocking, but I wouldn't have bet someone $50 that it would happen as the odds wouldn't be that great, but better than about every other team.

My jaw hasn't exactly fell to the floor over this.

At the moment, all the division leaders could be considered a surprise. Blue Jays are leading the AL East, Royals are leading the AL Central, Mariners are leading the AL West, Marlins are leading the NL East, Cards leading the NL Central (not a huge shock, but still), Padres leading the NL West. It's a topsy-turvy world we live in.

One thing we can always count on is the lowly Nats being at the bottom.

    Marlins aren't shocking me.
