Baseball Slant 10 league rosters question regarding injuries

I know I haven't been on much, but in free time I'm finally making progress on the rosters, although it has obviously come at the expense of TPSL if you guys didn't notice. Which isn't a big deal to me honestly. I'm going to sim the final month tomorrow and then do the playoffs and cancel the site before the 21sts. It's a distraction for now and I want it off the back of my mind.

Point though, I have made some good progress on the rosters these past few days, though I wasn't sure about a couple things (so I either left it, or can edit it later on.... Everything can be editted before anything is finalized, so it's ok. but... one thing inparticular would help to know:

injuries... is there a cutoff date that any injuries that occured before a certain date count, and after a certain date.. don't? Am I entering all existing injuries from the 2009 season with their real time-length? All injuries pre-trade deadline?

I can edit all of this very easily, so whatever it may be it's not a biggie if I have to change some players' injury status. I'm just... not so sure what was decided on with injuries. And I don't want to sift thru the threads, because I don't really remember injuries being brought up anyway.

I know that we're essentially starting from the waiver deadline in terms of player movement, with the file beginning in 2009... but for injured players, i.e. Brandon Webb who missed all but his first start of the year, I'm kinda unsure what to do. Some guys who were injuried going into 2009 are still hurt and have their injuries in the game from default (when I downloaded the game).. i.e. Tim Hudson.

I just don't know what to do with injured players and players who were injured. Give some ideas or opinions, I'm open to anything that's reasonable.

I'm o.k. with injuries being completely reset and everyone healthy to start off. If that's not an option, then I honestly don't care which way people go, it probably only matters to people who have a significant talent on DL before or after.

I'd just not have the injuries, the last thing I'd want is a player dying who comes back in 2010 is back in 2008 form, let everyone get the roster they think we are going to get.

Since we are making things so different by changing the rosters so much, having injuries mimic real-life seems rather lame.

let everyone start fresh, from the start of this offseason, in terms of injuries that is. everyone who is a free agent.. is an fa. no excess injuries... everything else is normal. hanson, jurrjens, hayward and mccann are ready to rape souls any way you cut it... just get it started.

Everyone here seems to be wanting no injuries, but idk Nick, I kind of like your idea. But either way is fine with me, I don't really care. I'd say the cutoff could be the start of the playoffs?

If we are starting at the end of January 2010 that is a great idea. I was under the impression that we were starting on OD 2010, but I hope I am wrong. If we have a full FA season, the Evil Empire will probably get him. Bastards!
