Random 40-40 and 30-30 years in TPSL

Has anyone ever seen someone do 40-40 in one season?

I do believe the absolute closest anyone has got was Beltran in 09 or one of those years with the Rockies. Right before I traded for him infact.

#15 Carlos Beltran, Centerfield, 37 yrs, Chicago (N) Cubs - Out of the Park Baseball Report

    Missed it by one HR.

Galloway missed it by 5 HRs this year...

I haven't seen anyone else get that close, but hammer and I talked about this on AIM one day and we did notice a fair amount of 30-30 guys, atleast 5 or 6. If you know of any, or see any... post about 'em... I'm curious.

Pujols had 35/32 in 2007 and 36/35 in 2010 with the Cardinals. Did you sim 2006? I know we didn't run the teams in 2006 and started in 2007, but Pujols was 42/37 in 2006.

Yeah, I simmed 2006 to get the season to the offseason of 2007. Cardinals actually won the world series in 2006 on the game too, oddly enough. With Carp as Cy Young even.

funniest stat of the league ever has to do with 06 too:

Only perfect game in league history...

Issac Galloway currently has 40 HR's and 37 SB's and was on pace for 44 HR's and 41 SB's, but will spend the last sim in AAA over a contract dispute. Barring a talent hit I think he'll have his chance to eventually do this.

DMB letting a 40-40 year go to waste over money. How lame is that? Who cares about money? Nobody.

Arbitration (Estimate: $9,860,000), could become Free Agent with 5 more days of service this year.

Its highly likely (if hes the active one) that hes sent down for this sim.

    As for the 40-40 thread.

Adam Jones is currently at 38 HRs and 33 SBs. Needs 2 HRs and 7 SBs to reach 40.

The HRs are likely to be reached but Im not sure if he will get the opportunities to steal 7 bases despite the way the team runs.

turn Jones' invididual stealing slider up, Porter (if it isn't already...)

Cameron Maybin should definitely get 40/40 this year-- perhaps 40/50 ... he's stolen 50 or more bases each year of his career too. Good player.

30-30 for Hanley and Kaenie, barring absolutely no HRs this sim.
