1 game behind would be better than 11 lol. +7 > -3 what can you do? Pujols ain't winning the MVP with 9 homers (on pace for 14 despite 10 power).

    the only positive:

    Tuesday 7/18/2017 :
Victor Coker seems to have improved his pure stuff!
Victor Coker's pitches have more bite now, the movement has improved!

    6,8,10,9 SP now (was 4,8,8,9).

Hitting .390 and getting on base at a near 48% clip will help the cause some.

I was just looking at one of our old deals, Koz...

Traded from San Diego to Los Angeles (N) on 4/2/2015 (Going to SDN: 2B Andy LaRoche. Going to LAN: P Terry Braggs, LF Joe Benson)...

Benson turned out to be a really solid player for a throw-in (the other guy near-completely died though):

I think he's lost talent since I acquired him, but he's kept the current above it. Or maybe he lost it before. Either way, nifty player.

Also, Nick, Kaenie has a good chance at 40/40 if he starts hitting HRs again...he kinda stopped this month.

that doesn't make my statement any less true. of course there are a few teams doing well. There is only 1 team with an ERA below 4 and only 4 teams lower than 4.50 with the league average at about 5. that, as a whole, is pretty terrible.

    Re: 2017 random rumblings

61-42 and took over the lead in the AL Central by 4 games, which is rather shocking considering I was down by 2.5 after the last SIM

    Batting AVG: .280 (8th)
    Homeruns: 101 (T-18th)
    Walks: 300 (19th)
    Stolen Bases: 181 (3rd)
    Runs Scored: 596 (3rd)

    Pitching ERA: 4.35 (9th)
    Opponents AVG: .263 (8th)
    HRs Allowed: 75 (T-4th)
    Walks Allowed: 270 (5th)
    Runs Allowed: 482 (6th)

Maybin had a poor month but is still up there on most of the leaderboards
Granderson is still tearing it up for doubles
Gourriel coming on in OB% and with power and production out of the 4 hole
Reyes grabbed the career SB mark
Porcello getting better as the season goes on and had a 6-0 Month of July

Reyes still struggling, even in the 9 hole in the lineup
Production still fairly low in the leadoff spot, but Leday at least stealing bases and hitting around .280 in the past 2 months
Jurrjens and Miller starting to struggle in the rotation, hopefully just an off month
Bullpen still not pulling it together in spite of a lot of talent there
