The reason for Wood's llow RBI total is 2-fold. 1, he hit leadoff. 2, the rest of the team sucked. It's not Vern Wood's fault nobody in the bottom of the order could get on base, he hit .373 with a .460 OBP with runners in scoring position. How'd Hewitt do in that spot? .307 with a .323 OBP.
