    Off the norm season predictions

Edwin Encarnacion with the strange season of the strange mix of production and non-production... BA under .240, 30+HR, 100+ RBI, 160+ K, 20+ SB, OB% under .320.. the man continues to show that contact ratings mean squat to him

With additional spending for a trade or callups... Yankees pay over 2MIL per win

Fabian Herreros puts up Encarnacion type numbers, minus the SB's... bust of the FA class

One of the last day, last minute, cheap FA signings will be in the top 10 in BA.. while none of the big money FA signings will

New division winners in both west divisions

The youngest team in the league is within 5 wins of the oldest team

We have more than 3 teams lose money this season

I will not let my 5th starter produce a 7+ Era with 9 losses, twice, in a season again. Though Maybe this year my team wont injure and underachieve its way outta contention again.

I like this. Here are some of mine:

-Oakland and New York DON'T play in the Division Series for the first time since I've been in this league.

-Milwaulkee drafts in the bottom 12 next season.

-Saber says something witty at one point--we all rejoice.

-There will be a trade where a lot of people complain.

-A 39 year old Alex Rodriguez has one of his better seasons since the start of our league time.

-Slyder updates his trade block 25 times peddling the same garbage as always.

-Milwaulkee and New York will make a nondescript trade

-I will now go eat lunch

    Well done.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

like predicting the sun will rise and set...

    I predict:

    -a Dodgers / Yankees WS

    -Baltimore misses the playoffs again

-I finish above .500, but miss the playoffs for the first time since 2008

-San Diego actually tries this season

    -Florida makes the playoffs

-Detroit has a major injury to one of their stars

    NL EAST Prediction:

    1. Atlanta - got better in off-season, class of the NL East last year.
    2. Florida - didn't do much in off-season, but under-performed last year.
    3. New York - offense lacks power, SPs are on decline or unproven, best bullpen in NL East.
    4. Philadelphia - young staff should emerge and steadily get better, might pass NYM
    5. Washington - again a young team that should get better with age. NYM maybe the cellar dweller by seasons end.

Yeah i know. But I've got him for 7 years so why chance bringing him up so early. I'm trying to lose anyways haha. I'm keeping all my specs in AAA until it's the right time, then I'll probably have a mass exodus to the majors

    AL East
    1. New York- Payroll: $179,981,428 (1st), George lives on thru Perf.
    2. Balitmore- This time Theo gets his playoff apperance.
    3. Toronto- They are the Arizona Cardinals of TPSL, The could win 90 or 60.
    4. Boston- Engel Beltre should be on the Padres or Mariners.
    5. Tampa Bay- General will now go into rebuild mode.

    AL Central
    1. Detroit- Would you have it any other way?
    2. Cleveland- To think this team finished 2nd with 80 wins.
    3. Kansas City- Maybe this is the year they prove me wrong.
    4. Chicago (A)- Rebuilding away, but isn't the whole division not named DET, or KC (every other season).
    5. Minnesota- Well it can only go up from here. Best can be described in song as "I'm a Mess" by Anthony Hamilton.

    AL West
    1. LA Angels- I think it goes down to the wire and Mr. Darvish comes through down the stretch.
    2. Oakland- Baltimore or Oakland will win the WC. But I think this time BAL will break through at OAK's expense
    3. Texas- Could very well finish last. If....
    4. Seattle- ...The medicore M's show up

    NL East
    1. NY Mets- They retake their place in the division.
    2. Atlanta- Will be in a dogfight with Florida for 2nd.
    3. Florida- How did we let Wilmer Flores drop to mission?
    4. Philly- Next CJ Firesale Blowup: June 1st.
    5. Washington- They could very well finish 4th. Interchangable

    NL Central
    1. Chicago (N)- Young team finally breaks out and gets to NLCS.
    2. Houston- This team beat a 103 team in the DS, a 95 win team in the LCS and 86 win team in the WS that beat OAK and LAA? Makes sense? Not really. But alas, they will be a contender this season too.
    3. Cincinnati- Will they generate enough offense?
    4. St Louis- How long before Crazy deals him.
    5. Pittsburgh- Meh. Maybe 4th is possible, they are as bland as a Cameron Diaz chick flick.
    6. Milwaukee- 1st overall pick repeat?

    NL West
    1. LA Dodgers- Could be the class of the NL again or could have a slight drop off to maybe 95 wins.
    2. Arizona- Colorado's magical run will not repeat this season.
    3. Colorado- Even with GF's firesale, they won't be worse than SF or SD
    4. San Fran- They have an elite rotation, and used parts everywhere else.
    5. San Diego- Will challenge Milwaukee/Seattle/Minnesota for 1st overall
So, with a full season of Rich Harden, new additions Jon Lester and Aramis Ramirez, the young guys(Heyward/Freeman/Casto/Clinton) having another year under their belt, and the chance that prospects like Donald Crow and Raffy Rodriguez could reach MLB quality by the end of the year means I'm going to get worse, having lost only Brian Bannister and Kevin Gregg(acquired at the deadline last year), Mike Gonzalez(like 10 MLB IP last year), Ervin Santana, and JoJo Reyes? Interesting. I figured I'd be the team to beat?

Thats more like it. Thanks for the props OM, here's to a fun year in the NL East.....I will never get over how dirty it makes me feel to be rooting for the Atlanta Braves....
