    Re: bal-cha

BAL is giving up a good pot to get Hamilton, but I'm going to pass it. He's serious about winning and I'm not stopping him. Not to mention, good for Leo. He got a very nice deal...and it's not like Hamilton is a joke- his recent boost to 10 contact talent makes him a top-5 hitter if/once he fills out, I'd say.

    Re: bal-cha

    Fail...

Reimold actually makes more than Hamilton, and Rowell will be 25 this season and really not that great to begin with. I think he has to part with Harlan Jones instead of Reimold or Rowell, or possibly upgrade the third guy. I don't see this as a good package for a great hitter.

    Edit-
Leo only has 9 some million, why rebuild and take on more money? o_O

    Re: bal-cha

Reimold is a career .300 hitter and former roty, and won a gold glove last year.. (and in 2010)

I also fail to see where Harlan Jones has more value than Billy Rowell, but I'm not going to argue it.

Jones being a 5 star prospect as well, who's younger and more developed. Pretty obvious.

And his actuals are going to help more in the longrun? I'd take a chance on Rowell being a more productive player 2 years down from now...

Baltimore needs to give up better quality, or a lot more quantity to make this deal work... fail
