    Guillen and Blalock were signed.
Kearns wants more money. Slowly, getting impatient.

(Just an FYI-- Kearns is hitting .050 on the year ... and he's only had 20 abs... I don't think it'd be worth resigning guys like him if they're not going to play or contribute. You don't have to everyone, you can let people walk. I know you probably know this, but I know you asked me for some tips awhile back so I just am suggesting to conserve some money. Look into your team and minor leagues and check and see who you have that is similar to Kearns [or other pending FAs, for example], so you can replace him with a cheaper player next season if he goes to FA or you could replace him with someone from FA for cheaper. Otherwise, your team is going to get into debt very quickly with pricey veterans who aren't going to contribute much.)

Not trying to tell you how to run your team by any means here, but I know you're still somewhat new to this so I'm just tossing a few pointers that could help you climb in the standings.

Yeah, you know what, you're right. I'll let him walk. Thanks for the tips. I appreciate it.

I mean, if he would've signed for the price you offered, that's not bad for a player like him. About on tap pretty much IF they're producing.... But since Kearns isn't hitting at this point, and you're a rebuilding team, I'd say cut his costs and look for a cheaper alternative in FA or from your farm for next year for an OFer off the bench.

and no problem, and good luck!
