Giants 2013 Tim Lincecum, and not much else.

Lineup (Both the same, for now)

    CF: Chone Figgins: 8-8-5-6-6
    2B: Jose Lopez: 8-8-4-5-6
    1B: Allan Dykstra: 8-5-8-10-6
    RF: Rick Ankiel: 7-7-9-7-6
    LF: Nick Johnson: 7-9-8-10-4
    C: Adam Moore: 8-7-7-4-6
    3B: Joe Crede: 7-8-9-5-7
    SS: Felix Pie: 8-8-8-5-5
    Pitcher

(Lineup will be altered once A-Rod comes back, likely in 2 sims... he'll probably take third or short depending on who is struggling, or if I can move Nick Johnson or not...)

    Bench:

    C: Justin Knoedler: 7-7-6-4-6
    1B/LF: Eddy Martinez Esteve: 6-8-8-5-4
    2B/3B/SS: Kevin Frandsen: 7-8-5-6-6
2B/OF: Marcus Sanders: 6-7-3-3-5(only being kept for his 9-9-10 speed ratings)
    OF: Fred Lewis: 7-7-7-5-4

    Rotation:

    RHP: Tim Lincecum: 10-9-8-8(end.)-53(GB %)
    LHP: Clayton Tanner: 10-10-10-8(end.)-45(GB %)
    RHP: Phil Hughes: 10-8-9-7(end.)-43(GB %)
    RHP: Craig Whitaker: 10-6-8-8(end.)-62(GB %)
    RHP: Ian Kennedy: 10-8-7-9(end.)-38(GB %)

Mopup: RHP Andy Sonnanstine: 7-10-6-8(end.)-45(GB %)

    Middle 1: RHP Jensen Lewis: 10-7-6-4(end.)-48(GB %)
    Middle 2: LHP Andy Pettitte: 7-8-8-4(end.)-49(GB %)
    Middle 3: RHP Brian Wilson: 10-7-7-3(end.)-54(GB %)
    Middle 4: RHP Duaner Sanchez: 8-6-7-3(end.)-66(GB %)

Setup: RHP Chris Carpenter: 10-8-5-9(end.)-71(GB %)

Closer: RHP Brian Bruney: 10-8-8-3(end.)-46(GB %)

Obviously the strength of the team is the starting pitching... bullpen is solid, could be great depending on how well Carpenter translates to a reliever. Offense will get a boost when A-Rod comes back, but I could still use another bat. Defense will likely suffer with Pie playing short, and Johnson in LF... Probably looking at another 4th place finish.

Could have been the Lincecum and Cain Comedy Hour
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!

The Lincecum/Cain comedy hour ran for about 5 seasons but was cancelled due to poor ratings.

Yeah, relievers tend to be up and down in these sims anyway... I'm just hoping Bruney remains solid and I get something out of two of the other guys.

your starters are beastly. your hitting is anything but. however we all know pitching wins championships. so you're in a better place than the other way around

If you don't lead the league in strikeouts...
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

I think I may lead the league in strikeouts in pitching and hitting...

Once A-Rod comes back, the odds are I'll move everyone back to a set position... depends on who is, and isn't hitting....

As a Yankee fan, I know you remember the one game we tried to play Johnson in LF in Coors field, and he looked embarassingly bad. I hope that carries over into the sim.

No doubt, no doubt. His next act is catcher if John Deadzone Smith goes down with injury.
