Ah its been a while since my entire team decided to play well together. Trading C.C for Kershaw and Ethier has been paying off well, though C.C is raping back over in LA. Garze and Ammons pitched fairly well for 1 endurance MRs, and reallly got alot of crap I had out of there. Going to have a few holes next season that I should be able to fill with my minor leaguers. I have 3 or so guys around to replace Pronk thankfully.

woo hoo! another injury...Mazzaro out for the season, which means he'll be out for a while next year, too since it happened at the end of this season.

    Monday 9/18/2012 :
Kurt Suzuki was named Player of the Week!
He batted .414 in 29 AB, with 3 HR and 9 RBI.

    Monday 9/25/2012 :
Ryan Zimmerman was named Player of the Week!
He batted .385 in 26 AB, with 5 HR and 10 RBI.

Suzuki did that while filling in for Barton being out for a week. Zimmerman back to his old self.

    Batting AVG: .286 (2nd)
    Homeruns: 171 (15th)
    Walks: 521 (10th)
    Stolen Bases: 275 (2nd)
    Runs Scored: 896 (6th)

    Pitching ERA: 4.04 (4th)
    Opponents AVG: .266 (16th)
    HRs Allowed: 121 (2nd)
    Walks Allowed: 481 (11th)
    Runs Allowed: 728 (4th)

We draw the Yankees again...hopefully, this team can finally break through, but with out my best reliever and one of my starting pitchers, we'll see.

That really was a trade that helped both parties if there ever was one.

While Kershaw probably won't ever be C.C., Ethier's now a 2 time all star in just 3 full years with your team. And the one year he wasn't an all star, he only drove in 138 RBIs and hit 24 HRs... I seriously misevaluated him or something. He was my 4th or 5th OFer most of the time and now he's just mashing.

Yeah I was kinda surprised myself. I was expecting to replace him at some point, but now I cant afford to let him go.

Also, I ended up dealing Gio back to you so that was a great deal all around.

Plus I've saved alot of money. And for Cleveland, thats important.

not gonna lie, I think I can win my first TPSL playoff series here. It's gonna be an uphill battle, but if this offense can tee off on Rich Harden, they can do great things

    Sosa: 39 doubles, 22 homeruns, 95 rbis.
Career high in doubles and was a passable defender at 2B and 1B. At age 43

More importantly, the padres are on the clock.

In other news, Michael Burgess has a combined 118 homeruns in the past two years.

    Maybe it carries over.

looking further into my choke job... the great and illustrious satanic micah owings lost 4 of his last 5 appearances, from the 23rd-29th. the death i wished upon him the last two seasons, has just been tripled. id cut him outright, but im sure somebody would pick him up and hed be a cy young candidate... zito or nick probably.

Hammer's too cheap to move talent anyways.
He might cut Mark Grace or Jay Bell, though
